An Uber Rider made a mess in the car. What do I do?

We hope and expect that riders treat Getaround cars with care and respect. If an incident involving a rider results in damage or mess to a Getaround car and you believe the rider should be charged for damage or mess, please save all receipts and reach out to Uber to report the issue.

You can do this by opening your Uber driver partner app and selecting Rider Feedback → Fare Adjustment: Request a Cleaning Fee.

As the renter of the vehicle you are responsible for cleaning and returning the Getaround vehicle in the condition you received it. If you return the car unclean, Getaround will bill your account for a $100 Cleaning Fee in line with the Fee and Commission Schedule and Renter Policy.
