Hosts have two methods of receiving claim payment once a claim has been validated and the damages have been properly assessed.
Host Vehicle is Repairable
Upon receipt and review of an estimate, Getaround will work to issue prompt payment for the cost of repair less any applicable deductible. Hosts will receive notification of claim eligibility via email and the amount to be paid. Once the claim payment is entered, Hosts will receive an email notification from snaptransaction@snapsheet.me in which they may enter their account details to initiate an electronic fund transfer. Hosts will have up to 48 hours to input the information before the payment token expires. If the payment token expires, Getaround will move forward in issuing a paper check to the Host's associated address.

Payments typically deposit within 24-48 business days upon entering your payment credentials. If Hosts choose payment via check the payment will typically arrive in 5-8 days. Hosts will have to input their payment credentials upon each subsequent payment or claim.
Vehicle is a Total Loss
Vehicles determined to be too expensive or unsafe to repair in accordance with local regulation are routed to a third party administrator in which to evaluate and resolve your claim. A third party administrator will issue payment(s) via check to the vehicle owner(s) upon receipt of necessary sale documents.
