What should I do if one of my renters caused some minor damage?

Small dings and dents that arise out of the natural course of driving are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered by insurance.

If you notice minor damage to your car after a trip that is not considered normal wear and tear, please take photos of the damage and email them to help@getaround.com within 24 hours of the trip end. We ask that you contact your renter directly to advise them of the situation; you may be able to resolve the damage with the renter directly.

Your renter is responsible for the damage fee for any damage that can be confidently determined to have occurred during his/her trip. In cases where no confident determination can be made as to which renter caused the damage or when it occurred, you (the owner) are responsible for the damage fee on any repair work performed.
