Guests are responsible for returning cars to the same condition (or better!) as they found them at the start of their trip.
At the beginning and end of each trip, the guest is prompted to take a walk-around inspection of the car. If they answer 'yes' to the questions "Is there damage?" and "Is there a safety concern?" they will be prompted to take a photo. As a Host, you can review any submitted photos on the Trip page in the Getaround mobile app.
If you notice that your car is damaged following a Getaround trip, report the damage via the Report Damage button in the Getaround mobile app. Submitting the damage report via the app (with photos and a few key details) will begin the Claims handling process. Getaround will only accept new claims via the Report Damage feature in the app.
