Renters are responsible for returning cars to in the same condition (or better!) as they found the car at the start of their trip.
At the beginning and end of each trip, the renter is prompted to take a walk-around inspection of the car. If they answer 'yes' to the questions "Is there damage" and "Is there a safety concern" they will be prompted to take a photo. These photos are available on the Trip Page for reference.
If a renter returns your car excessively dirty please submit photos and any relevant receipts for cleaning to us via our help center. We may be able to reimburse you for having your car cleaned. Receipts must be submitted within 30 days of the trip in question.
If you notice your car is damaged and needs repair please let us know right away.
As our cleaning reimbursement policy mentions, we are able to offer reimbursement for cleaning up to $45.00. We may also add a $15.00 earnings adjustment to compensate you for your time and effort to resolve the renter-incurred expense. We'll handle the renter side of things.
