Guests are responsible for returning the car on time or extending it as needed through the Getaround app or by contacting us.
If a guest is late, Getaround will automatically extend their trip and charge them for it. If a guest is late and unable to pay for an extension, Getaround will prioritize getting the vehicle back right away. If Getaround is able to collect a late return fee from the guest, Getaround may compensate the host for each hour the guest as much as $30/hour up to a maximum of $300.
