What is Getaround's policy for loss of use reimbursement for damaged cars?

If your vehicle is removed from service for repairs due to damage caused by a Getaround rental, Getaround will provide up to $25.00 per day, up to 30 days, for each day the vehicle is out of service and in the shop for repair.

For Speciality vehicles, Getaround will provide up to $40.00 per day, up to 30 days,for each day the vehicle is out of service and in the shop for repair.

The Loss of Use payment will only be paid up to highest month's earnings in the last 3 months prior to the repair, not to exceed the maximum payment of $750.00 for a Standard vehicle or $1,200.00 for a Specialty vehicle.

A payment for Loss of Use is intended as compensation for lost earnings, parking fees, Getaround Connect fees, and any ridesharing services used or Getaround cars booked while your car is unavailable.

Remember, as an owner, you may always use your monthly driving credit to rent another Getaround vehicle.
