When your car is in an active trip, we provide access to 24/7 roadside assistance for any accidents and breakdowns that may occur, although there may be an additional charge. If a protection plan was available at the time of the trip it will have additional details as to charges related to roadside assistance.
For roadside assistance outside of a renter's trip, the owner should contact Getaround, and, if necessary, arrange and pay for roadside assistance service. If the issue resulted from a renter's action, Getaround may be able to provide assistance at our sole discretion. Note that if your car fails to start outside a renter's trip or calendar block, please contact Getaround immediately, in accordance with our Connect Terms of Service.
Any time Getaround intervenes in a roadside event due to a violation of our Terms of Service or any other negligent actions taken by an owner, a roadside assistance charge will be charged to cover the cost of the roadside assistance services.
