While we understand that for some Hosts abiding by the 24-hour rule may be difficult, we are unable to make exceptions to our street parking policy. We recognize that street parking is highly dependent on the neighborhood in which your car is parked, and we encourage you to put detailed parking information on your pick-up and return instructions page to communicate with your Guests about the best places to return your car and that it is still within our street parking policy.
Regardless of any agreements reached between you and your Guest, Getaround will only reimburse you for parking violations or tow charges that are incurred during the trip or within the 24-hour period after the trip ends. It is your responsibility to ensure that your car is parked safely after the 24-hour period has passed.
